Buyers withhold lysine buying in China
Lysine prices moved within a narrow range during the week ending September 24.
Sales of lysine slowed down of late as China celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival. Nevertheless, lysine producers stood firm on prices with inventory pressure low.
As for imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices were unchanged at RMB11.50-11.70/kg.
With soymeal market soft, feed millers are likely to limit lysine purchases in the coming period.
